Shopping & routesHow does PickPath learn my store?

Choose a store, make your list, then use Learning Mode during your shopping trip to record where items are found. On later visits, PickPath uses those saved placements to order the items it knows. Items without a confirmed placement may appear afterward until you teach PickPath where they belong.

Getting startedHow do I get my grocery list started?

Start by choosing or adding a store. Then build a list of what you need. You can browse the built-in grocery catalog for suggestions and review your choices before adding them to your list. When you're ready, start a trip for that store.

Shopping & routesDoes PickPath work offline?

Yes! The installed Android app is designed to work without an ongoing internet connection for core shopping lists and learned routes. You may still need internet to install or update the app, or to send a backup to an online service.

Your dataWhere is my shopping data stored?

In the current release, your lists, store knowledge, and shopping history are saved locally on your device. You don't need an account, and PickPath doesn't automatically sync household shopping data through a cloud service.

Backups & transfersHow do I back up my lists?

Open Settings β†’ Export Backup and save or share the generated JSON backup file somewhere you trust. Backups are manual, so export a new one whenever you want an up-to-date copy of your shopping information.

Backups & transfersCan I transfer my lists to another phone?

Absolutely. Export a backup on the first phone, then choose Import Backup on the second phone. Important: importing replaces the receiving phone's current shopping database; it doesn't merge two people's changes. Export a backup from the receiving phone first if there's anything you want to keep.

Your dataWhat happens if I uninstall the app?

Uninstalling PickPath or clearing its application storage can erase locally saved lists, routes, and shopping history. Export a backup before removing or resetting the app if you want to preserve that information.

What's nextIs Family Sync available?

Not yet. Real-time shared household shopping lists are a planned future feature. For now, exporting and importing backups is a way to transfer a saved copy manually, not a live synchronization system.
