PickPath Shopping is provided by Sowell Solutions LLC under the Sowell Solutions Studio developer name. For privacy questions, contact info@pickpathshopping.com.

PickPath stores the groceries you enter, store names and item placements, lists, learned routes, trip history, and application preferences using storage on your device, including IndexedDB in the app's web-based interface. We do not need you to register an account to use the current app.

You can choose to export your shopping database as a JSON backup file. On Android, you can use your device's file-sharing options to save or share that backup, including to a cloud-storage provider you choose. PickPath does not automatically upload or synchronize your shopping data to our servers. The destination service may handle the exported file under its own privacy terms.

You may also select a backup file to restore. Restoring a backup replaces the shopping information currently stored in that installation. It is not a merge or live family sync. Keep copies of data you want to preserve before importing another backup.

The current app does not contain an advertising SDK or a third-party analytics feature that sends us your grocery lists, store routes, or shopping activity. If you email our team, we receive the message and any information you choose to include so we can respond.

If you choose to join the PickPath Shopping launch-interest list on this website, we collect the email address you submit and a record of your affirmative marketing consent, including the date and time of the request, consent wording and version, and source website. Signing up is voluntary; the checkbox is not preselected, and you can use PickPath without subscribing to marketing.

We use Google Apps Script and a private Google Sheet to process and retain these requests on our behalf. The list is currently marked pending email verification. We intend to confirm email ownership through our future email marketing provider before adding addresses to active marketing campaigns. If we use a marketing service to deliver email, that provider will process the information necessary to send messages and handle unsubscribes.

If you later receive promotional emails from us, each will include an unsubscribe option. You can also request removal now by emailing info@pickpathshopping.com. We will stop marketing to addresses that opt out and may retain minimal suppression records as needed to honor those requests. We do not sell or rent the launch-interest email list.

When you visit this website, hosting and infrastructure providers may process connection information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. The site is hosted using GitHub Pages. The site uses Google Fonts to load typography; Google may receive technical requests associated with those fonts. The launch section also displays app-store badge artwork hosted by Google and Apple, which may receive technical requests when those images load. When you install the app through Google Play, Google's own distribution and platform privacy practices apply.

We do not sell shopping lists or learned store routes. PickPath does not send those records to retailers for marketing. If you voluntarily export and share a backup file, the people or services you share it with can access its contents. Be careful where you store or send backups.

Shopping data remains on the device until you remove it, replace it by importing a backup, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling or clearing storage may permanently erase that installation's local database. Copies of exported backups must be deleted separately wherever you saved them. Messages sent to support are kept as needed to handle your request and manage our business records. Launch signup records are kept while needed for launch communications, consent verification, and applicable recordkeeping obligations, or until you request removal, subject to necessary suppression records.

PickPath is a general household shopping utility, not a service directed specifically to children.

We design PickPath around local storage and user-controlled export. No method of storage or transfer is completely risk-free. Protect access to your device and exported files, particularly if they include personally identifying shopping or store information.

We may revise this policy as the app evolves. If future versions introduce accounts, automatic family synchronization, advertising, or paid services, we will update the relevant disclosures before those features are introduced. The current effective date will appear here.
